Modern technology has made it possible for winemakers to produce grapes in a distant place and bring them to an urban facility for crushing, fermenting, and aging before bottling and selling the wine. Witch Creek Winery obtains its grapes from various vineyards, choosing only the best grapes available for use in their winemaking process. Valle De Guadelupe, El Dorado, Clarksburg, Paso Robles, and Napa Valley are just a few of the vineyards found in the area.
Witch Creek produces all of its wines naturally, which means that they do not utilize any additives in the cellar during the fermentation process, nor do they filter the wines before bottling. Consequently, you will be drinking a glass of wine that is as near to being direct from the vine as possible. Their ‘Vine to Bottle’ method is something they are very proud of. The winemaker at La Coulée de Serrant explains it: “To accomplish zero technology in the cellar, you must be an artist in the vineyard.” This is precisely why they only select the best quality grapes they can find.
According to their website, Witch Creek Winery offers a wine club that includes only wines chosen by their staff each month. Each pick of two bottles has a monthly value ranging between $60 and $100. They make every effort to accommodate their members using their available resources.
Witch Creek Winery’s Cellar Club is well-known for its high-quality, limited-edition wine selection, available only via the Cellar Club.
